Whale Spirit: A touching tale of a child and the whale

Once there was a little boy,
who sat on top of the mountain playing with his wooden toy,
Looking over into the Ocean,
Far into the horizon,
Under the brilliant luminious Sun.
He looked across the vast waters,
and saw these creatures having fun,
Magnanamous and mammoth were they,
but yet from this distance so small,
they were bigger than anything around,
Higher than the highest wall,
They rose to the surface and dove deep within,
In a huge family with all their kith and kin,
surfing the currents of the worlds vast oceans.

An immense curiosity moved the boy within.
They were there when he went to the beach,
they were there when he went fishing with his father,
and the farther they went into the ocean,
the more clearly he could see,
that, these magnificent creatures,
so humungous yet serene,
only heaven could have come down on Earth,
and such beauty magnanomous been.
He often spoke to them,
through words,
through music,
and through thought.
They sang always,
filling the Ocean with their beautiful
vibrations of harmony,
into the very depths of the inconcient sea,
they would bring the consciousness of light
through their heavenly presence,
and harmonious sound.

On such days, in the middle of the Ocean,
where even in the distance no land was to be seen,
Just like the past memory of another life,
the fisherman always knows which way the land is.
Similarly the whales came each season and left at its change.

He watched them for years and years,
as he helped his father fish,
went home and ate, his mothers
beautifully cooked dish.
In his dreams,
in his thoughts,
and the wanderings of his mind all day,
he wondered,
and wondered,
and wondered,
if one day,
he could be like a Whale so large and pure,
to ride the ocean currents,
and it's depths endure.
His Grandmother says that they are
creatures of Heaven,
Souls of seers and angels and gods,
decended into  the Earth,
to plumb the depths of inconscience,
and bring even down there,
the Divine Light,
For only a creature of God
could be so peaceful,
inspite of such immense might,
and only a few were chosen,
only a few could know,
for their true inner self,
the Whales rarely show.
When the tribe went fishing,
they'd swim around their boats,
showering them with blessings and light,
even helping in the bounty,
harvesting the fish,
to feed this little boy,
his Mother's wonderful dish.

One day as he slept,
his Soul rose from his body,
in a blissfull sleep,
where he slept, yet was awake,
up into the Sky,
a heavenly route did his Soul take,
and as it rose beyond land,
and high above the sea,
it heard a Divine Harmony -
Melodious sounds,
that resonated accross the Earth's
huge distances and vast depths.
Following the sound,
like a predator to it's prey,
he went straight to the sound,
his Spirit did not stray,
diving into the Oceans,
where these magnanomous giants roam free.
He swam amongst them,
they were the same,
them and he.
They seemed to know his presence,
and recognize his Being.

Together they swam through the currents,
and surfaced for light and air.
They swam to the depths with their dazzling inner light,
they swam across the oceans,
circling round this world,
and then through a doorway
in the infinite depths they passed,
into a land of bliss,
what seemed a parallel reality,
where the Whales flew in the Sky,
and birds swam through the seas,
and the nectar of immortality,
was harvested by bees,
and man was a child,
and God everywhere,
even in the land,
and the trees that were bare,
great beauty emerging from all that was around,
there was a joy to be found,
spontanious and without reason,
and every minute,
there was a change in season,
the Sky changed colours
and the wind sang through the breeze,
accompanied by the musical rustling of the trees,
No, this was not another planet,
he realized this was his home,
this beautiful Earth,
this wonderful dome,
under who's sky he lived
and worked and played and loved.
Only, he was now in the spirit,
and could see behind the veil,
the World as it truly is.

If only he could share this,
with all who he knew,
but one's who could believe him,
he knew were very few,
for no child can swim with the Whales,
and fly through the sea,
impossible was this,
for their thinking minds to see,
and their hearts too frozen with grief to realize,
for it is not something you see with the physical eyes.
It is something the Spirit sees,
and the heart knows,
a very concerete feeling,
as real as the tip of your toes,
and the touch of your hand
and the taste in your mouth.

Just then a Whale, released from it's spout,
a gush of air,
and with it he returned,
pulled back into the Sky,
and back into his body,
awake in his home.

Days went by,
and weeks and months and years.
The boy grew older and stronger.
He played in the mountains,
and swam in the sea,
fishing with his father
and dancing in the ceremony.
But he felt not the same joy,
nor was he interested in any girl,
for in the depths of the Ocean,
he had found the Divine Pearl,
the pearl of infinity,
that his Soul alredy held,
but somehow it seemed to vanish,
where? he could not tell.
And as time passed
the vision became a memory,
and even he almost forgot,
imaginging it to be a dream,
on another night,
he awoke at a flowing stream
of light and love and bliss and infinity,
and an immense deep silence that
engulfed the world,
in a glorious harmony,
and a joyous beauty.
And in this Light,
he felt the presence of God,
there was no question in his mind,
Just peace in his body,
and a silent heart,
that opened like a flower to the Sun,
on a beautiful summers day.
Just like the Earth,
Spontaneously openeing in Spring,
the cells of his body,
aspired for heaven,
and the aspiration was met,
with a rain of Divine Grace,
and there within him,
began sprouting,
the Future Race.
